Taxi stop - station for taxi drivers
Taxi stop aiming at functioning as a station for taxi drivers who are on pause and customers on wait.
Academic project made with Claudia Morimoto and Fernando Chan in 2010.
This taxi stop was designed to fit the routine of taxi driver's. It works as a station where the driver can rest and the clients can wait safely for an available taxi.
It has light structure of bent metal sheet, a roll-up door for securing it during the night and a locked bathroom.
In the waiting area the clients can find a city map to check locations and addresses.
For the driver, there is a small kitchen so they can bring food from home and avoid spending extra money.
